Please make sure to bring plenty of water for your sessions along with any snacks for a quick break to stay energised throughout your training session. We highly recommend you bring pens and note pads to take down any beneficial training notes throughout your sessions.

Please make sure you wear conformable clothing to train in along with appropriate footwear. Do bear in mind you will be training in hiphop and technical styles so do feel free to bring other clothes if you would like to train in something more suitable to the style.

Everyone will receive a 1-1 session with Nadia at least once a term (If you feel like you need extra or would like to speak to her about something specific do let her know) In these session you will discuss goals and progress throughout the company, with what you want to achieve and how we can help with that, along with regular feedback.

Once the term starts a uniform order will be put into place. This will be for branded clothing as part of your fee, it is not mandatory to wear and you can wear it as much or as little as you like. You will receive more later on in the year, however if you want anything extra this will be an extra charge.

Training will be at Spotlight Centre every Saturday 10am-2pm. Your sessions will be held in the upstairs studio on the right hand side as you leave the lift. Please try and arrive at least 15mins before you are due to start so your training can start on time.

Do Things Different want to create the most versatile dancers, hence why we are aiming for you to train in many different styles. Each term will always be different with exciting new styles for you to learn! There will be some styles you wont see right away in which they maybe on the timetable next term e.g. house in the autumn term but litefeet in the winter term.

We believe in more than just training in different styles to prepare you for the industry, hence why we will also have in-house exciting tailored workshops to develop yourselves as a dancer further! So be prepared for exciting workshops such as audition technique, acting for dance and so on!
During the holidays we hold workshops in collaboration with Spotlight which are free for 11-19yr olds.
We also hold our own workshops out of term time for the public which are free for company members.
